Our Mission
Gulf of Alaska Keeper exists to protect and restore the coastal ecosystems of Prince William Sound and the northern Gulf of Alaska through large-scale marine debris removal and conservation action.
Our Impact
With 25 years in the field, GoAK has cleaned more than 1,500 miles of coastline and removed over 4 million pounds of debris from wild and sensitive coastal areas, with ongoing projects and future initiatives planned across Alaskau2019s coastlines.
Our Reach
Headquartered in Anchorage and Whittier, Alaska, GoAK is dedicated to cleaning the coastlines of Prince William Sound and the Gulf of Alaska, with completed projects spanning from Kayak Island all the way west to the Barren Islands (more than 1500 miles).
